Karen Kessel and I took a trip down to Wellington Cakes the other day to visit owner Anne, and to take a tour of her wonderful little bakeshop on Douglas Street. The historic building is the perfect location for a bakery which features some exceptional treats. While a great stop for coffee and cupcakes, Wellington Cakes is so much more. The stone walls are lined with some of the most fabulous cake designs for any occasion, humbly showcasing their exquisite touch and attention to detail.
