After what felt like a century, it’s finally gorgeous outside and what better way to spend it than drinking a cold one on of the many amazing patios Guelph has to offer.

Our friends over at @Snapd posted a quick synopsis of some of the great patios available here in Guelph. From the treasure that is Einstein’s to the secret shaded patio at With the Grain, there are so many welcoming restaurants to choose from. In fact, we have nearly 50 different restaurants and bars with accompanied outdoor seating.

If you’re considering a new restaurant this summer, be sure to take a quick peek at this Custom Top 10 Patio List via Yelp.ca. The above restaurants have all been rated very highly by Yelp users and make for perfect summer dinners on the patio. If you’re not familiar with the Yelp platform, it is very similar to the accustomed Yellow Pages with an added bonus of user reviews and so forth.

And Be Sure to Look Forward to those Fridays…

Every Friday at noon this June and July, both the Downtown Guelph Business Association and RBC organize The 2015 RBC Noon Hour Concert Series. These phenomenal performances take place at St. George’s Square and include all sorts of music with a new artist playing each week! This week Relative Harmony, an acoustic trio consisting of Rick Avery, Judy Greenhill and Jonathan Avery, will be performing a combination of traditional British and North American folk music through the celebration of Enchanted Week.

From the looks of it, last week’s performance seemed to turn out beautifully:

Not only are there concerts each Friday, Summer Fridays are also home to the near bi-weekly and free event Movies in the Square! This event takes place in the Market Square beside City Hall instead of the aforementioned St. Georges Square towards Quebec City Mall. Be sure to bring your kids out and watch the family-favourite Madagascar beginning July 3rd at 9pm.

Here’s the schedule for the following movies:

We’re certain you’ll love spending quality summer moments downtown Guelph this year. For all our clients who are still hesitant into purchasing Guelph real estate, you’re seriously missing out. Guelph is an increasingly amazing place to live life to the fullest.
